ALL of our Australian Labradoodle dogs are our pets first! They swim with us, take turns sleeping with us, and get ALL the love from us! We have spent hours training them good habits (but they still love jumping up and kissing us) and don’t have too many dogs in our home so that each get that special attention. We feed HIGH QUALITY food, HIGH QUALITY supplements and don’t overload with processed treats (we love making them homemade treats!) Our investment into our program is to ensure we breed with consistent conformation, gorgeous fleece coat type, and most importantly amazing temperaments. We want your mini Australian Labradoodle to be CERTIFIED SWEET!

Curriculum

We use Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early scent Introduction (ESI) between 3 and 16 days old, along with careful handling, to provide our puppies with proper exposure and socialization. We help guide, shape, mold and then evaluate puppies to ensure our puppies are empowered, healthy, well-adjusted, and able to thrive in a variety of environments. This is the Bad Ass Breeder way.

Health Tested Parents

We use Animal Genetics and Embark genetic & DNA testing as well as will complete OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) testing on adult dogs (2+ years old) to evaluate them for elbow dysplasia and hip dysplasia. We ensure our Australian Labradoodle puppies don’t inherit over 255 different genetic health risks. For that reason, we will not pair some Australian Labradoodle dogs together. THIS is responsible breeding!

Two-Year Health Guarantee

We guarantee the health of all our Australian Labradoodle pups for the first 2 years of life. We do not offer a health guarantee on anything contagious a puppy can contract as soon as they leave our care or can be caused by stress. More info can be found on our puppy contract.

Thorough Veterinary Examination

All of our pups come to you certified as healthy and microchipped by a licensed veterinarian. Each one will have their first round of vaccines and a full course of de-worming completed.

Puppy Matching Process

Our unique program allows us to help match your family with the right Australian Labradoodle puppy based on temperament or if you prefer, color and/or gender. We keep all of your preferences in mind.

Take Home Goodies

You and your new Australian Labradoodle puppy will go home with a 30-day trial pet insurance, mother’s scented blanket, toys, treats, paperwork and a lifetime of support for your little pooch! That’s the Louisiana southern way!

Delivery

We are more than happy to help facilitate air or road delivery when needed. There may be times when we can also meet halfway (within 200 miles) or hand deliver puppies to your door locally!

Transparent Communication

We treat our humans just like our pets! With respect and dignity. Sometimes text or email can get lost in translation so if it needs explaining, let’s jump on a call together! We provide support throughout the life of your pooch and hope that you return for more Sugar Cane Doodles in the future. Referrals help us find amazing families too!!

Certified SWEET

All of our puppies are raised right in our home in Louisiana, and spend the last four weeks in our living room along-side our family! We put that SPECIAL ingredient into our program so that you’ll leave with a CERTIFIED SWEET Australian Labradoodle puppy!
